Privacy Policy
Effective August 5, 2026
TASKOPS is built to run without knowing who you are. No account. No ads. No tracking. No selling data. This page is the whole story.
What stays on your device
Your missions, steps, history, templates, schedules, and field notes are stored on your device. They are also mirrored to your private iCloud key-value storage so a reinstall can restore them. That mirror lives in your Apple account — we cannot read it, and it is never sent to our servers.
What leaves your device
When you request a mission breakdown (or use STUCK or REWORK), the task text you typed — plus any operator profile text you wrote and field notes you approved — is sent over HTTPS to our server (a Cloudflare Worker), which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your steps. The response returns to your device.
Our server does not store your task text — it exists only to process the request. Anthropic processes API requests under its commercial terms and does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models.
Rate limiting
To keep the service available, our server keeps a daily request count keyed to a random device identifier generated on install. It is not your name, email, phone number, Apple ID, or advertising ID. It is used only for daily allowances and is never used for advertising or profiling.
Notifications
All notifications and Live Activities are scheduled locally on your device. Permission is optional and requested in context, never at launch. Every notification carries only the title of the step you armed — nothing else, ever.
What we don't do
No accounts. No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. No tracking across apps or websites. No sale or sharing of personal data.
Data deletion
Deleting the app removes local data. The iCloud mirror is under your control in your iCloud account. Server-side rate counters expire on their own and contain no task content. For anything else, email us.
Children
TASKOPS is not directed at children under 13.
